The BMCC Library, in collaboration with the Criminal Justice Program and CETLS Campus Culture, is bringing you a series on Social Justice designed to inform you about the issues and what you can do to get involved. The series will be divided into 3 sessions. This session is titled:

Social Justice and Activism: Getting Involved and Protecting Yourself

Speakers: Prof. Stefan Williams, BMCC Criminal Justice Program,

"Black Lives Matter, and how we can view it as fundamental concept in our legal system, specially the criminal justice apparatus"

"Cyber threats that activists should be on the lookout for and simple practical measures individuals and organizations can take to minimize their exposure to undue surveillance and privacy intrusion while online"
